I Heart Guinness
May 29, 2008I had Guinness for the first time several years ago. I thought it was good but I didn’t understand why everyone made such a big deal about it.
In recent years I’ve gained a great appreciation for beer. More recently I’ve gained a great appreciation for Guinness. I’ve never had anything quite like it.
Last night I went to a bar in Asheville, NC called Jack of the Wood with a friend of mine. I drank 5 pints as we played darts, bullshitted and listened to an old time band pick over in the corner of the bar. Every night this place has live music ranging from Irish/Celtic music to cover bands. I definitely think I will be going back soon.

I am absolutely drooling over that picture! My personal record for drinking Guinness is 11 pints! I went to see a rugby final at Twickenham (SW London) and we drank Guinness all day – oh boy that was some hangover!
MMmmm, there’s nothing as sexy as a woman that appreciates Guinness.
