100 Things About Me

1. I was 25 y/o when I received the biggest shock of my life when my husband left me. Somehow I survived. 

2. I am a total train wreck waiting to happen.

3. I love the color pink without rhyme or reason.

4. I love sports and know more about them than the average guy. If that makes me unattractive to them they can piss off.

5. I have a love/hate relationship with East Tennessee. It’s the most beautiful place in the country but I can’t wait to move.

6. I have broken a couple of hearts.

7. I’ve had my heart broken a few times.

8. I sing in the shower and I conduct classical music in my car.

9. I love and appreciate art and wish more and more to have any artistic talent whatsoever.

10. I daydream all the time and make up little fantasy worlds in my head but am too afraid to put them on paper.

11. I have no idea what I want to do with my life when I grow up.

12. I feel inadequate as a woman because Victoria’s Secret thinks my boobs should be smaller.

13.  I trust people far too much.

14. I still love my ex-husband.

15. I think the Georgia Bulldogs are the greatest football team in the nation, even if they go 0-12 next season.

16. I think ETSU should bring football back.

17. I am ridiculously proud of my Mexican heritage despite growing up in a home with white parents.

18. I dream big but am afraid none of those dreams will ever come true.

19. I still pray to God even though I’m angry at Him right now.

20. I get weepy at sappy commercials on the TV.

21. I want to make a difference in the world, but don’t know how.

22. I miss making music more than anything.

24. I get totally freaked out during scary movies but I love watching them anyway.

25. I love to rock out on Guitar Hero III like a complete dork.

26. I want to travel the world, everywhere from Brazil to Beijing to Botswana and anywhere in between.

27. I am hit with strange flashes of deja vu on occasions and it freaks me out.

28. I want to own a cabin in the country where I can appreciate the beauty of this world.

29. I am hopelessly addicted to Starbucks even though I know it costs way too much.

30. I want to write a book.

31. I want to tryout for American Idol but am way too scared of Simon.

32. I am afraid of the unknown.

33. I can finally admit that I want to be a mother one day.

35. I miss going fishing with my grandfather.

36. I want to have the sweet soul of my grandmother.

37. I want to learn how to play tennis.

38. I hope that I can be a positive influence on those around me.

39. I LOVE taking road trips with my mother. We turn the stereo up super loud and rock out to Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses and The Rolling Stones.

40. I have decided to put up the money to find out information on my biological mother.

41. I don’t want to find my biological mother. I have finally reached that place in life where I’m more curious about her medical history than I am her actual life. I was given up and adopted for a reason and I finally accept that.

42. I love reading and am usually in the middle of 2 or 3 books at a time.

43. I have more friends in the online world (via blogging or xbox) than I do in real life.

44. That fact scares me a bit. But I wouldn’t trade my online friends for the world.

45. I have two cats (Socks and Callie) and one dog (Jake). I feel like I live in a zoo.

46. I have a degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.

47. I hate most people.

48. My master’s degree is in Sport Management and I have zero plans to use it once I graduate.

49. If I won the lottery today, I would quit school, pay off all debt, and move to London.

50. I’m actually glad that I’m divorced. I get a chance to start my adult life all over again.

52. I dream of seeing Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Van Halen and Dave Matthews Band in concert.

53. I LOVE drinking wine. It makes me feel like I’m sophisticated.

54. I have recently developed addictions to ER and Law & Order reruns on TNT

55. I LOVE my XBox 360 it has helped me cope the last 6 months.

56. I can’t wait to stop working in college athletics even though I will miss being on the ‘inside’

57. I have a passion for food and cooking.

58. I have a collection of shot glasses although I rarely take shots of anything.

59. I can’t wait to be finished with college but now I’m thinking about getting my MBA.

61. I have a hard time telling the time on any type of clock that isn’t digital.

63. I collect movie posters. I currently have posters from Titantic, Legends of the Fall, Gone With the Wind and Jaws.

64. I am a disaster when it comes to managing money, but I’m trying.

65. I want to learn more about my Mexican heritage.

66. I like expensive perfume. I alternate between “Daisy” by Marc Jacobs, “Burberry Brit”, and “Black Code” by Armani.

67. I love candles. I have all types around my apartment.

68. I prefer red wines to white but I’ll take a good Chardonnay over a blush wine any day.

69. I totally want to be on TLC’s ‘What Not to Wear’ so that I can get a whole new wardrobe.

70. I love getting pedicures. Pretty toenails are essential to life.

71. I LOVE flowers. Lillies are my favorite but I also love tulips, gerber daisies and roses.

72. I LOVE pizza. My favorite is the Mighty Meaty from the Mellow Mushroom.

73. Miller High Life is my beer of choice.

74. I’m pretty decent on the piano. Playing relaxes me intensely. I hope to own my own piano one day.

75. I love fresh peaches and hate canned peaches. I love canned pears but hate fresh ones.

76. I own a ridiculous amount of underwear. I have enough panties and thongs to last at least 2 months.

77. I bite my nails even though I know it’s disgusting.

78. I collect the Susan Lordi Willow Tree Angels. I think they’re lovely.

79. I wish I weren’t so timid in social situations.

80. I never sleep past 9am unless I’m sick.

86. I’m scared to death about losing my job next week. I have no idea what I’m going to do next.

89. I used to be athletic. I ran track and was a gymnast until I got boobs.

94. I do most of my shopping at NY and Co.

96. I missed half of my senior year of HS because I had mono.

98. I let my dog Jake sleep on my bed so I don’t have to sleep alone.

99. I want to go to every MLB park. But I’m probably going to have to settle for New Yankee Stadium.
